I have officially done it!
I signed up for the Brownville, NE Freedom Run 10K - I never would have thought I would willingly commit and pay to run in a race! Since February I have taken up the hobby of running. I guess you can say I have the runners bug and I love it! On July 3rd I will run in my first race - I don't care to win I would just like to cross the finish line! So far I have ran 4.25 miles - I have 2 months to work my way up to a comfortable 6 miles. Hopefully it happens! I also have Sam convinced to run as well - he would like to do the 5k but I will work on changing his mind so we can run together!

Wow! Karen that's great! My sister Laigh Ann got the runner's bug too and ran in Lake Tahoe a few years ago. I'm impressed with people who actually enjoy running. I must say even though I played sports, running was not my favorite part. Best of luck with that and can't wait to see pics.

this is awesome! i wish i had the motivation to run. it's hard when you're doing it alone..REALLY HARD.
